“When all the body systems are well ordered, health prevails.” A.T. Still

Osteopathy treatment is aimed at patients whose problems cannot be resolved with conventional therapeutic procedures.

Our body can compensate for incorrect postures or stress-related tensions for a long time. However, the dysfunctions change and affect other areas of the body. At some point, the compensation capacity is exhausted and even the smallest breeze becomes “lumbago.”

Osteopathy does not always start with the symptom, but rather looks for the cause of problems that sometimes go back a long time.

In osteopathy, 3 different SYSTEMS are distinguished.

These systems always work together and are interconnected through different levels.

They can influence each other and must therefore be thoroughly examined during an osteopathic treatment so that the cause of the ailment can be precisely located and treated.

The parietal system

Parietal osteopathy involves the skeletal system of the human body with all its movement and support functions. This includes all muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints, as well as associated fascia.

The visceral system

In visceral osteopathy, the internal organs with their surrounding structures (blood and nerve supply) as well as their connections to the skeletal system are examined and treated.

The craniosacral system

In craniosacral osteopathy, the different bones of the skull, the sacrum, the associated connective tissue membranes, as well as the peripheral nervous system are examined and their mobility and elasticity are treated.
